The Effects Of Stress On A Person s Body And Mind
Every individual has or will experience stress at least once in their life. Many people tell other people they have a lot of stress in their life, but exactly what is stress. Actually, stress is a response of our body to any kind of threat or demand. The body s defenses kick in, when you sense danger, whether it is real or imagined. Stress is a part of life and people should learn how to manage it in order to be happy and joyful in their lives. Stress can cause physical effects to a person s body and mind. Mainly Stress is caused by job pressure such as Co-Worker Tension, Bosses, Work Overload, financial problems like Loss of Job, Reduced Retirement, Medical Expenses, relationship difficulties for example Divorce, Death of Spouse,â⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦In other words, if both a man and a woman are under the same amount of stress, the effects are more likely to manifest physically in the woman and last for longer. Stress can have several different effects on your body some of them been muscle pain, restlessness, chest pain, lack of focus, depression, drug abuse, etc. Peres, M. F. P., and D. S. Vieira explained in his article that, ââ¬Å"Stress was reported as the only trigger for the headachesâ⬠(Peres and Vieira, 2006). Every single type of stress has a headache as the symptoms. Many people think of stress as a bad thing, but stress is not always bad for you. Forty eight percent of people say stress has a negative impact on their personal and professional life. In fact, some stress boosts your senses, Such as helping you to avoid accidents, powering through unexpected deadlines, or stay clear minded in chaotic situations, etc. There are two types of stress good and bad. Good stress (eustress) is a type of stress that is beneficial to human bodies. You can experience eustress when you have much work and eustress helps you focus on work and improve your performance. Stress becomes negative (Bad stress or distress) when a person faces several challen ges without relaxation in between of this challenges.
